Chrism MassThe Owensboro Sports Center Join Us for the blessing of the Holy Oils. One of the great traditions of our faith is the use of sacred oils as outward signs of the grace bestowed through the sacraments. Each year, these oils are freshly prepared, during Holy Week. Chrism Mass is held for the bishop to then bless the Oil of the Sick and the Oil of Catechumens and consecrates the Sacred Chrism. At the Chrism Mass, our diocesan priests also renew their commitment to the priesthood. Representatives from parishes across Western Kentucky gather for this special liturgy, bringing back the blessed oils for use in their communities throughout the year. |

and fish meals.
Meals will include two pieces of fish or eight shrimp plus hush
puppies, white beans, slaw, and French fries for $13.00 per meal.
Meals can be
picked up from 3:30 to 5:30 pm in the Parish Center.
All proceeds will be used
to continue the Knight’s charitable programs.
Take the night off from the
kitchen and let the Knights cook dinner.
